Greener gas
The gas we supply to the grid is made up of at least 10% biogas, which is generated by breaking down organic matter such as farm waste.

Good Energy supply tariffs are exempt from Ofgem’s energy price cap due to the support they provide for renewable energy generation. We buy electricity directly from over 2,500 independent renewable generators.
Your usage matched with renewable power in real time, as far as possible
We work hard to balance customer demand with renewable supply, every half hour of the day. Any gaps (where our customers are using more power than our generators are currently supplying to the grid) are covered over the course of a year.
Helps add new renewable sources to the grid
Our long-term contracts with our generator community provide the support needed to help new generators get started.
Priced fairly, for you and our generators
