Genuinely renewable energy
We match all the power you use at home with 100% renewable electricity generated here in Britain by over 2,500 independent renewable generators.
Our electricity is all from certified renewable sources: wind, solar, hydro and biogen.
By switching your home to renewables, you’ll be standing up for our planet and helping power a cleaner, greener future for everyone.
Greener gas
The gas we supply to the grid is made up of at least 10% biogas, which is generated by breaking down organic matter such as farm waste.
We also offset emissions from all the gas you use at home by supporting Gold Standard projects that are improving access to clean energy in rural communities around the world.

Good Energy supply tariffs are exempt from Ofgem’s energy price cap due to the support they provide for renewable energy generation. Our tariffs are priced to reflect the work it takes to match your energy usage with electricity sourced from independent British generators that are making the grid greener.

What makes our tariffs different?
Directly supports independent generators
We buy electricity directly from over 2,500 independent renewable generators.
Your usage matched with renewable power in real time, as far as possible
We work hard to balance customer demand with renewable supply, every half hour of the day. Any gaps (where our customers are using more power than our generators are currently supplying to the grid) are covered over the course of a year.
Helps add new renewable sources to the grid
Our long-term contracts with our generator community provide the support needed to help new generators get started.
Priced fairly, for you and our generators
